Dear Patient:
I look forward to meeting with you and working in partnership with you to develop a Pain Treatment Plan. Having pain that does not go away can be a life-changing and emotionally devastating event. Although it is rare that we can “cure” pain, I hope to be instrumental in making your life more fulfilling and to reduce the suffering that you are experiencing. My philosophy in treating pain is to first obtain all the information needed to correctly diagnose your problem, add medication or more invasive therapy as I feel is indicated, and work towards optimizing your physical and emotional function.
